Victoria Beckham (born Victoria Caroline Adams on 17 April 1974 in United Kingdom) became famous for being a member of the Spice Girls girls band. She landed in the band after responding to an ad in The Stage magazine in 1993, having before studied dance and modeling in Laine Theatre Arts College. She recorded many hits with the Spice Girls between 1994 and 2001, making her name and face recongizable all over the world in the process. In 2000 she released here first solo single "Out of Your Mind" and a year later an album - "Victoria Beckham". She also wrote two books, first entitled "Learning to Fly", an autobiography. The second one, "That Extra Half an Inch: Hair, Heels and Everything In Between", was a collection of Posh Spice's tips on beauty and fashion. Victoria appeared in TV as well, numerous times. Documentaries starring Posh Spice include "Victoria's Secrets", "Being Victoria Beckham", "The Real Beckhams", "Full Length & Fabulous: The Beckhams' 2006 World Cup Party" and "Victoria Beckham: Coming to America". Victoria's husband, the english soccer player David Beckham, appeared in some of them as well. Victoria appeared in a lot of fashion magazines, being a fashion icon known for her elegant style. She designed and advertised plenty of clothes and accessories and did it with a huge success. Since 12 July 2007 Victoria Beckham lives in the United States as a result of her husband's transfer to LA Galaxy soccer club. Her and her husband's joint wealth is estimated currently at $225 million USD.
