Date of birth: 16/08/1958 Madonna is one of the greatest singers in hertory and one of the richest ones as well. Her full name is Madonna Louise Veronica Ciccone Fortin. From an early age she was involved in artistic activities in her school and took courses in piano and ballet. Her achievement opened the doors of the university, where Madonna continued to shine both in her studies as well as in her cheerleader group. In 1978, she decided to end her studies and moved to New York with $35 in her pocket to accomplish her dream of becoming a dancer. Madonna made a living for a long time thanks to odd jobs, allowing her just to survive, then continued to learn dance and go to hearings. In 1982 Madonna signed for the first time with the group Warner and released her first album Madonna. It was her second album, Like a Virgin, one year later, which gained success at the international level. Between success and controversy she released seven other albums, including Like a prayer and Music up, Confessions on a Dancefloor (2005) which is a global hit. Madonna also shines as an actress in film, notably in the film Evita, in 1996, and as an singer in many soundtracks that give birth to four more albums. In addition, she is seen in two plays on Broadway. From the documentary In bed with Madonna (1991), to the advertising of H & M in 2007 for her collection M by Madonna she is interested in all genres. Mother of two children and incarnation of the "American dream", Madonna has not said her last word, since she is currently working on a 11th album in collaboration with Justin Timberlake, Timbaland and Mika.
