Born on 28 May 1968 in Melbourny, Australia Kylie Minogue began as an actress. In eleven years, she obtained her first role on television in the Australian TV series Skyways. She then appeared in The Sullivans, a series taking place during the Second World War and The Henderson Kids. It was the soap "Neighbours", which makes her a star in her country. In 1964, Kylie Minogue released her first single, Locomotion, which is a real hit. Her singing career took off with I Should Be So Lucky, which remained number one in over a dozen countries. Kylie Minogue therefore releases her first album entitled KYLIE adapting The Locotmotion for Europe. In the 90s, Kylie Minogue released her second album Rhythm of love. Her new album Kylie Minogue is a success in Europe with softer songs like Confide in me and Put yourself in my place. In 1995, Kylie Minogue performed a duet with Nick Cave showing her darker side, called Where the Wild Roses Grow, which was a success among teenagers. "On a Night Like This" was also a global success and Kylie Minogue was recognized by her country to sing for Sydney in 2000. It was the single Can't Get You out of My Head that gave her the international success as well as other singles of the album Fever, like In Your Eyes. The success was so great that the DVD of the concert KylieFever voted best live event of the year. Kylie Minogue released her latest album Body Language which was not as well received as the first single Slow but it was nevertheless a hit. After a ong period of absence following her cancer, she made her big comeback with her tenth studio album, X.
