Jennifer Lopez was born in July 1969 with parents originally from Portorico, Jennifer Lopez grew up in Bronx in New York, a poor and difficult district which forged her character to be strong. As a teenager she was passionate about dance and the comedy, she takes part in several musical spectacles while going to film castings. Having some appearances in several Hollywood productions, she was strongly pointed out for her role in the movie Selena which gave her in 1997 a nomination for the Goldens Globe then received praises from critics for her acting at the side of George Clooney in a Steven Soderbergh's "Out of Sigh". It is in 1999 when Jennifer Lopez joins again with her first loves: dance and music, by publishing her first album On The Six, a pop disc with latino sound which gained an international success followed in 2001 by the J-Lo album which invades the charts whole world. Cultivating an unique image as well in her clips as in her films, Jennifer Lopez, which is called "Latina Bomb" continues to carry out with an obvious success a career in the cinema and the music.
