Well before becoming a world star, the beautiful Jennifer Garner devoted herself to other passions. And if she hadn't failed she could not become the known and recognized actress. Actually, her childhood was centered on the dance. She devoted nine years of her life to it. Another hobby: chemistry. She wasn't too bad at studies as well: she graduated in chemistry at the Denison University. Second of three girls, she leaves her studies, and flies away for New York City, where she takes jobs in restaurants. Got her first hard gained wages, as well as going to many castings. She has to wait though until 1998 so that a someone discovers her. J.J Abrams becomes her mentor. He casts her in his televised series Felicity. A sitcom which will give her a chance and where she will meet Scott Foley, an actor with whom she gets married two years after their meeting. After some other roles, including in The Party of Five, J.J Abrams makes her a superstar with the saga Alias in 2001. The beautiful actress plays the agent Sydney Bristow there. Big movies follow next, like Catch and Release, The Kingdom and Juno.
