Born on February 11, 1969 in Sherman Oaks in California the comedy actress Jennifer Aniston ( born Anastassakis) lived one year during her childhood in Greece, before her actor parents moved to New York. After their divorce, Jennifer at the age of 11, enrolls in a school of dramatic art, Rudolf Steiner School, thanks to her godfather, the actor Telly Savalas, known from tv show Kojak. Regarded as a true class clown, the girl plans to become actress and follows a schooling adapted to her aspirations while having odd jobs (waitress, saleswoman in telemarketing). In 1987, at the end of her studies one finds Jennifer Aniston in some New Yorkean parts, then she joined Hollywood by joining the cast ofa very forgettable film Leprechaunin 1993. In Friends, thanks to which she owes her artistic safety, she plays the character Rachel, a girl with a rich father, who becomes a waitress in a coffeeshop in New York. The immense success of the show propels the young woman to the status of an international celebrity (the producers however considered her for the role of Monica, finally given toCourteney Cox). Her hairstyle was copied by the girls of the whole world, she becomes one of the most popular characters of the series and her personal life resembles a fairy tale with her marriage in 2000 with one of the most coveted men world, the actor Brad Pitt. However, she gets little success in the cinemas with movies like the romantic comedy the The Object of My Affection (1998) or The Good Girl (2002). So Jennifer Aniston decides to do in the cinema something she did successfully on TV - make people laugh. She joins forces with big stars in comedies like Jim Carrey in Bruce Almighty in 2003 or Ben Stiller in Along Came Polly in 2004. 2005 was a bad year for her personal life. Eventhough she had a main role in Rumor Has It... which brought her success, the center of attention was her divorce with Brad Pitt. But the propositions still came, like The Break-Up in 2006 and many more upcoming movies.
