Denise Lee Richards was born Feb. 17, 1972 in Downers Grove, Illinois, USA. When she was in the first grade at school, her parents moved to live in San Diego, California. Still a student, Denise began working as a model. After graduating Oceanside, in 1989, she left for Los Angeles to pursue her modelling career. Denise Richards has regularly attended New York and Tokyo and has done a lot of covers for sports and youth magazines. But the acting was her real passion, and two years later she stopped her career as a model to find work as an actress. Despite a small role in the series Doogie Howser MD, the proposals were rare. She spent a lot of time and energy to take lessons and attend hearings, but without results. But thanks to her perseverance, she eventually got some roles in films such as Loaded Weapon I and T-Rex and then made a short appearance in the series Melrose Place. In 1997, Paul Verhoven hired her for Starship Troopers against the advice of Sony who wanted a known actress. But the film was a success and Denise Richards made a name for herself in the business. Next she chose to get a role in an erotic thriller, Wild Things, with actors such as Kevin Bacon, Neve Campbell and Matt Dillon. The film was well received by critics and spectators. In 1999, she won the coveted role as one of James Bond girls in The World is Not Enough, and continues her career in a movie The Third Wheel.
