Carrie-Anne Moss was born on August 21, 1967 in Burnaby, British Columbia. She is a Canadian actress who rose to fame thanks to her role as Trinity in The Matrix trilogy. When she was eleven she started play in the Vancouver children's musical theatre. Subsequently she joined the Magee Secondary School Choir and she went on tour to Europe . Then she attended the American Academy of Dramatic Arts in Pasadena. In 1985 she began her model career and it led her to Japan and Spain. In 1999 she achieve a great success as a Trinity in The Matrix. She played in two sequels of The Matrix and gave her voice to the character in video game. After The Matrix she gave a lot of propositions. She appeared in The Crew , Red Planet , Chocolat and Memento. A year 1999 was successful also in her private life, as she married actor Steven Roy. In 2003 she gave birth to their son, Owen. His name is the only one new in public as she is very focus in protecting her family from public eye.
