Carmen Electra, real name Tara Leigh Patrick, was born on April 20, 1972 in Sharonville, Ohio, USA. She is an American glamour model, television personality, dancer, singer, and actor. She attended the School for Creative and Performing Arts in Cincinnati and dropped out from Princeton High School in Sharonville. In 1998 she lost two close person, her mother,who died of a brain tumor, and her sister who had a heart attack. She changed her name after moving to California, where she met Prince, who convinced her that new name will help her in career. It looks as he was wright, because soon after she signed a contract with Paisley Park Records, Prince's company. That was the beginning of her short rap career. In 1995 she started her television career. In next year for the first time people could see her naked body in May issue of Playboy. It was the beginning of several nude pictorial in that magazine. Between 1997 and 1998 she appearing in Baywatch and then also in MTV's Singled Out. In 2003 she got back to Baywatch. Her popular among Playboy's readers lead her to be a celebrity guest photographer. Electra also made a few steps as an actress. She appeared in "Good Burger" (1997), "The Mating Habits of the Earthbound Human" (1999), the horror spoof "Scary Movie "(2000) and in "Scary Movie 4" (2006), "Epic Movie" (2007), "Date Movie" (2007). Her fans could see their idol in the remake of the 1970s TV show "Starsky & Hutch" (2004). She won an MTV Movie Award (best kiss) for "Starsky & Hutch". However, her acting skills weren't appreciate by critics. Currently Electra is a spokesmodel for Ritz Camera Centers. She is also known for video game Def Jam: Fight for New York and ESPN NFL 2K5, along with Steve-O and Jamie Kennedy. In her private life she had many relationships. Since 1995 she was linked to star B Real of Cypress Hill. In 1998 that relationship ended and she embarked on new romance with basketball star Dennis Rodman. They were together only for a year, but during that time they got married and divorce. She even had a brief romance with ex- husband of Pamela Anderson, Tommy Lee. Since November 22, 2003 she has been a wife of Dave Navarro, former lead guitarist for the rock bands Jane's Addiction and Red Hot Chili Peppers. They love was documented in an MTV celebreality show called 'Til Death Do Us Part: Carmen & Dave". Unfortunately their marriage did not last long and on February 20, 2007 their divorce was finalized. Recently appeared rumors about her lesbian relationship with Joan Jett, but they denied and insist that they are just friends.
