Angelina Jolie Voight was born in 1975 in Los Angeles,California. Since beginning she had something to do with acting, as a daughter of actor John Voight. As a child she appeared alongside her father Jon Voight in the 1982 film Lookin' to Get Out, but her first leading role she played in a major film in Hackers (1995) .International fame brought her a role Lara Croft in Lara Croft: Tomb Raider (2001), and since then has established herself as one of the best known and highest paid actresses in Hollywood. Since she was little girl she wanted to be an actress, as she claimed it was thanks to her mother who watched with Angie a lots of movies. Her father didn't has any influence on Jolie. Her parents separated in 1976 and Jolie and her brother were bringing up only by mother. When she was 11 she started act and enrolled at the Lee Strasberg Theatre Institute, where she has trained for two years and appeared in several stage productions. Thereafter she recalled her time as a student at Beverly Hills High School (later Moreno High School), and her feeling of isolation among the children of some of the area's more affluent families.Jolie often wore second-hand clothes. She often was teased by colleges. When she was 14 she had first sexual experiences and she started a rebellious period in her life. Two years later she moved out from her mother's home and rented apartment a few blocks from her mother's home. Finally she decided to back to theatre studies and graduated from high school. In September 2002 she legally change her name to "Angelina Jolie", dropping Voight as her surname. Angelina's relations with father never were good, because actress blamed him for the break-up of the family. That's why she decided to cut all contacts and connections with father. In 1996 she got married to actor Jonny Lee Miller, her co-star in the film Hackers. They divorced in 1999 after two years of separation. One year after she met her next husband actor Billy Bob Thornton. This time her marriage also didn't takes long, in 2003 was over. Jolie also admitted that she was bisexual and had a sexual relationship with her Foxfire co-star Jenny Shimizu. In 2005 appeared that she was the "other woman" in the divorce of actors Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston, although she has denied this in several interviews. Jolie and Pitt are still together and has a biological child, a daughter Shiloh Nouvel Jolie-Pitt, wo was born in 2006. They have also two adopted children Maddox Chivan Jolie-Pitt (adopted in 2002), Zahara Marley(adopted in 2005). On March 15, 2007, Jolie adopted a three-year-old boy from Vietnam, Pax Thien Jolie, but Pitt didn't take part in it. Since 2001 she has been a Goodwill Ambassador of UNHCR.
