Sandra Bullock Biography

Sandra Annette Bullock (born July 26 1964 in Arlington, Virginia) is an American actress. At university, she was majoring in theater. She played in the Extinct (1992). The following year, she could be seen alongside Sylvester Stallone in "Demolition Man". The road to fame began in 1994 with the movie Speed and its sequel, Speed 2. She alternates between comedies like Practical Magic (1998) and more serious roles like in 28 Days (2000). She created her production company, Fortis Films. She produced Hope Floats (1998), film in which she played the main character. She plays in many romantic comedies like Forces of Nature, Two Weeks Notice, The Lake House. Sandra Bullock also enjoys the roles of strong women (The Net, A Time to Kill, Murder by Numbers). In 2001, she returned to the comedy genre with Miss Congeniality 2: Armed & Fabulous four years later. Her most recent roles include Infamous, Premonition, All About Steve and The Proposal.
