Simon Rex was born and raised in San Francisco, Calif. Rex began his career as a model at age 18, soon landing his first big job in a print campaign for Tommy Hilfiger. After three years of extensive traveling between New York and Europe, he was discovered by MTV and quickly became one of the hottest veejays on the air. Throughout his two years with MTV, he had the opportunity to interview some of the biggest personalities in film, television and music, perform in comedy sketches, emcee events and make personal appearances all over the country. Rex made his stunning debut on The WB's Felicity when he appeared in several episodes as a romantic interest for the title character, played by Keri Russell. The following year, he starred in The WB's romantic comedy Jack & Jill. On the big screen, Rex appeared in the horror film The Forsaken and recently completed filming the collegiate comedy Going Greek and the crime drama Unleashed with Jon Voight. Honing in on his passion for comedy and improvisation, Rex has appeared on cable television's Instant Comedy at the Groundlings and has performed stand-up in various New York venues, including Boston Comedy Club. Currently living in Los Angeles, Rex enjoys playing basketball, going to the movies, exercising, drawing and listening to music in his free time.
