Rick Schroder was born on April 13, 1970 in Staten Island, NY. He has settled down after running with a 'fast crowd' in Hollywood during his teen years and early '20's. He is currently living in Grand Junction, Colorado on a 16,000-acre working ranch {which he and his wife designed and built their own house on} with his wife, Andrea, and their 3 children, Holden, 6, Luke, 4, and Cambry, 18 months. Rick has been acting for 20 years. His first major role as T.J. Flynn in 'The Champ' {1979} earned him a well-deserved Golden Globe nomination. His role as 'Ricky Stratton' on 'Silver Spoons' {1982} lasted for 5 years. His role in the mini-series Lonesome Dove {1989} was no less than superb. Rick sometimes thinks about leaving the entertainment business for good, but it seems to be in his blood.
