His first wife was Ana Leza. This marriage survived for 8 years. Second marriage with Melannie Griffith was succesful and resists untill nowadays . Banderas is still one of the best latin actors ever born. Chosen by Empire magazine as one of the 100 Sexiest Stars in film history.
